Vision

It is Tendris' vision - a vision we share with many other people worldwide - that the time has come to reconsider everything we're doing and how we are doing it. Climate crisis, poverty, education, health care, financial crisis, the entire way we do business: we appear to have forgotten that business is just a way to improve quality of life for all, just like politics, volunteering and charity are forms of giving back andcontributing to our eco-system in the broadest sense of the word. We believe that the time has come when we should no longer settle for the substandard and isolated solutions that businesses have provided in the last century: we owe it to our fellow inhabitants on this planet, to future generations and even to ourselves to deliver optimal solutions that benefit the system as a whole: we believe business can be a powerful force to deliver these solutions. It is Tendris' mission to make this world a better place for everyone. Tendris initiates, operates and invests in businesses that offer market driven solutions to consumers and businesses that promise and deliver significant positive impact while empowering people to make the small and big changes that improve their quality of life.

For profit

Tendris is a for-profit operator and initiates for-profit businesses. We believe profit is more than the income minus the costs: we believe profit demonstrates added value, and is not so much a goal in itself but certainly a criteria and for measurement of the value we create for our customers who could have chosen differently. We believe also that profit demonstrates that the business has continuity and even that positive impact companies have a competitive advantage over others: in this way, sustainable entrepreneurs are rewarded for creating positive impactful companies, employees are rewarded for working with them, and investors are rewarded for backing them.

The Tendris business philosophy is based on turning dreams into sustainable realities. From conception to execution to distribution to contribution, Tendris is built upon and operates on the principles of sustainability. Sustainability, while an oft-used term today, has been core to Tendris since its inception in 2002. All our businesses are sustainable; environmentally responsible, technologically advanced entities which offer high quality goods and services at no added cost to the consumer. Our vision is that sustainable behavior should be rewarded. When consumers opt for quality and sustainability in their purchases, they should pay less instead of more. Consequently, the choice for sustainable products and services may not negatively impact quality of life or consumer choice.
